This Privacy Policy explains how Theme Emporium collects and uses data when users access the service.

ChatGPT app V1

The first ChatGPT app release exposes only theme browsing, theme details, and non-persistent theme preview generation. A generated ChatGPT preview is returned to the conversation and is not saved as a Theme Emporium theme record by the submitted MCP tool path.

Theme-generation prompts are processed to produce the requested preview. Technical and security data may be processed as needed to operate the service, enforce rate limits, investigate failures, and protect the service.

Data we may collect in the broader Theme Emporium service

• account data such as email address and optional display name when an account feature is used
• theme customization data such as selected themes, wallpaper settings, font settings, and saved presets
• theme usage data such as theme application events
• AI generation prompts provided by users
• technical and security data needed to operate the service

How we use data

• to provide requested theme browsing and preview features
• to provide authentication and account access where applicable outside ChatGPT V1
• to load theme data and saved customization state where applicable
• to improve service quality, safety, and performance
• to enforce abuse protections and rate limits

How data is shared

When a user invokes the ChatGPT app, OpenAI sends the requested tool input to Theme Emporium. Theme Emporium may send a theme-generation prompt to its first-party generation API and uses hosting, infrastructure, and security providers only as needed to operate and protect the service. Theme Emporium does not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Data retention

• ChatGPT V1 does not create a Theme Emporium account or save a generated preview as a persistent theme record.
• Operational and security logs, when retained by Theme Emporium, are kept only as long as needed to operate, debug, and protect the service, normally no longer than 30 days.
• Information associated with broader account-based Theme Emporium features is kept while the account is active or until it is no longer needed for the stated purpose. It is deleted or anonymized after a verified deletion request, except where a longer period is required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or law.

User choices and controls

• Users may choose not to submit a generation prompt and may stop using or disconnect the ChatGPT app at any time.
• Users may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data controlled by Theme Emporium by emailing support@themeemporium.live.
• Local demo preferences in the broader web product can be reset from the product interface or cleared from browser storage.
• OpenAI conversation history and related controls are managed through the user's OpenAI account settings and are governed by OpenAI's policies.

Third-party services

Service providers process data only as needed for the relevant service operation and according to their applicable terms and privacy commitments.
